How can Sarah and Maud escape from their evil father? Whatever happens to Pa Goatcher? Will Sarah keep her baby? Can the banker’s son from London find happiness in his 43-bedroomed mansion? Will it be saucepans at dawn between Mrs Maynard and Mrs Butler? And just who is the mysterious Baron Renfrew?
